I'm going to San Francisco!

Yes, amazing as it may seem, a major antispyware vendor got in touch and generously agreed to pay for the trip across the pond so expect a shedload of articles about conferences, duty free and maybe even some pictures of guys sitting behind desks with those cool little trays of sandwiches you always get at these things.

After a lot of thought, I've decided not to name my wonderful benefactors on here, on the basis that I wouldn't want them to suddenly become deluged with a sackload of letters / emails asking for "stuff" - that wouldn't be fair.

However, I would like them to know that I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to go to San Francisco and will do my very best to not do something stupid like trip over and take a couple of tables with me (which happened at the last wedding I went to, fact fans!)

Normal service (if there's anything even remotely approaching that round here anymore) will be resumed tomorrow.
