Who killed Crazy-Toolbar.com?

Well, ask and thou shalt recieve. After the horrors of the mysterious attack on my desktop, what should I find but this curious entry on my forum. All tooled up and ready to rock, I went to see Crazy-toolbar.com's latest enhancement...the enhancement being, the site had crashed and burned.

A result, by anyone's standards.

Crazy-toolbar provided one of the nastier installer bundles in recent memory, with some of its fun features including a partial overwrite of Explorer (yay!) and various other pieces of digital loveliness. However, all that has now changed and (for the time being), the site it still down, some eight hours later. It could still miraculously resurrect itself, but at this stage the omens look good. Just don't get too excited...yet.

I have had no word from any of the companies whose software was being pushed from the website, so for now we will have to file it as an act of God. Hopefully one of the nastier ones, with boils and posionous toads.

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?

The question is, if Crazy Toolbar is finally six feet under, who did it?

Someone has seemingly answered my call to put a bullet in its head, but who?
