Shi Tao gets 10 years

A regular fixture of this website, Shi Tao, has been royally shafted by allegedly "independent" courts in China. And as a result of attempting to wangle out of the mess he found himself in, Shi Tao will now lose 10 years of his life, with none of the girly "let 'em out in six months for good behaviour" fun and games you find over here in the West.

If making it public that the Chinese State deems it necessary to terrorize its journalists with emails is "divulging state secrets", then holy hell if the reason they are making these things public is because your secrets suck and deserve to be made public. Like you don't think we know what you get up to in your spare time?

Like we completely missed that whole thing with the tanks and the students. Give me a break. You suck, you will always suck and you will continue with the suckage until you sort your dungheap of a "political strategy" out. Though with 100,000 people held illegally in forced labour camps, it's unlikely they'll release the great unwashed masses anytime soon.
