Er - yes. If the above confused you (along with the fact that you're seeing what may well be the first time anybody posted a picture of a happy banana on a security site), then you've probably had the same sort of sinking feeling with useless EULAs and spurious wordings galore. We all hate them, don't we? Let's face it, we can continue the same old "round-and-round" discussion with the people that create these things...the debate over whether minors can legally agree to anything....the fact that companies provide "generic" agreements instead of product-specific ones....and a whole bunch of other jibber-jabber.
OR...you can gather up all the crappy EULAs and run 'em into the ground! Hooray! As Suzi has mentioned, there are some nifty EULA-slamming tools out (or soon to be out) that shred these suckers up and leave you with a warm, happy glow in the pit of your stomach. Or something. For me personally, the greatest benefit will be making an utter mockery of "full-disclosure and notification" claims that always seem to pop up when you're kicking ass and taking names, Fasterxp-style. The interesting element here is waiting to see what methods will be employed to get around the EULA scanners. I have a whole bunch of ideas for cheating the system already, so I pity the fool that messes with my EULA Analyser 'cos I'll be eating their useless evasion tactics for breakfast.
ROFLZ!!!
