Castlecops, Earthlink and an interesting tale..

Wayne Porter has been on something of a blogging frenzy lately - if you haven't seen what he's been up to, I urge you to check it out.

First up - an excellent rundown of the whole Castlecops Vs Earthlink thing that has been blasting across the forums lately. I linked to this some days ago, but it helps to have some background knowledge of what's going on here. Actually, I lie, it almost doesn't help at all due to the rapid pace and crazy amount of info flying about the place. Step up Wayne Porter:

The point of this is to spread awareness of the issues surrounding Aluria/Earthlink at the moment, and their stupid decision to certify WhenU as spyware safe a couple years ago which caused a lot of press and bad publicity for Aluria.

Of course, there's a lot more to it than that, but that's enough to be getting on with for now.
