I'd love to be able to give you a neat little summary of what the following thread is about, but it's just more entertaining to read it and watch the train wreck unfold. if I had to dig out a visual metaphor for what is about to take place, I'd have to go for this one (watch out for those not-safe-for-work adverts, though!)
