Security MVP double whammy

Well, unzip Bill Gates and send him home - I was indeed re-awarded the Microsoft MVP in Security for 2006. However, I was delighted to discover from my good friend and colleague Wayne Porter (currently on LOA) that he has been awarded MVP status for the first time.

For those of you not in the know, Wayne (in my opinion) is one of the best experts around in the field of Adware and Spyware. He also comes to the table with a distinctive and unique approach - he tackles the financial aspects behind the scam, and is laser-sharp with his ability to follow the money trail. He also encourages forum-goers and security helpers to think about these methods, and is probably responsible for shovelling large amounts of those security-based people to Revenews.com, where many insights into the affiliate world can be found. It's a testament to this approach that you will now often see Revenews linked to from security sites, as interest in this area grows. Well, that's two awards in less than 12 months - congratulations!
