Nope, it's not Daniel Day-Lewis, it's this guy.

As the Goatse Clock reached it's thunderous conclusion (some ones and zeros, and a bad bit of text pasting), most of the sites stealing my bandwidth had dropped those hotlinked images quicker than lightning that's been greased for a bit. One or two people failed to stop the rock though, because I got some wonderfully insane Emails.

Sample one:

You F***ING FAG WHAT U HACK MY F***ING SITE FOR! SCREW WITH MY PICTURES AGAIN AND ILL KICK UR FAGGY ASS YOU FAG BITCH!

.....lol. Yes, of course you will. Have they invented that device that allows you to stab people in the face on the Internet yet? No? Oh well, looks like I'll have to wait for my kicking then. And another one:

howd u do that to my site? nobody gave u the right to put that picture up on my page and my mom saw it and yelled at me u piece of s***

....sorry kid, tell it to 24 hours ago when I might have cared. Next:

oh god pelase (sic) make it stop im so sorry i dont know what i did to you but please take that mans ass off my site i dont want it there aNYMORE

....yes, I'm sure you don't. Also, score 1000 bonus points for being so emotionally distraught that you mashed the Caps Lock button with your palm and couldn't remedy the situation. Then lose those 1000 bonus points for not being able to use punctuation. Still, looks like you finally worked out how to use the delete key. A winner is you.

I'd like to be able to share more of these missives with you, but so far that's all I've had through. I guess the threat of Impending Goatse Doom was too much for the Interweb to take.

Still, we have Daniel Day over here, throwing axes at people and wearing wolf fur or whatever - I'm going to give him a 24 hour reprieve, though he doesn't get off that easily...the image he's hotlinking will change again and again over that time period.

Once the time is up, he'll be hit with the full force of a Goatse / Tubgirl / Cleveland Steamer whirlwind.

And that's one shitstorm your umbrella won't protect you from.

/ Update - The final hotlinked image has been taken down - Operation Goatse Clock was a roaring success. I guess nobody likes being outed as a Right Said Fred fan on their own site, either. Sadly, our Mohican chose to replace one hotlinked image from my site with....another hotlinked image, from a different site.



Sometimes, there's just no reasoning with people...
