Stupidest. Botnet. Ever.

So, there I am, bopping around IRC and what do we get but a stupid infection message from some Bot. After running the file and being deposited into the usual common or garden variety Botnet, I'm greeted with the rather bizarre message in the screenshot (click to make it expand at an exponential rate!)

"Legal Botnet Message of the Day:

A Worm Is Unautorized Installed On Your PC.

Do you want to remove this worm from your PC? By pressing the NO button you don't accept it and this message don't come back + your PC also get PATCHED for asn.1/PNP bugs and don't get infected on the same way.

Here's the infection reasons:

* Illegal software download
* You don't use anti-virus
* You don't use anti-spyware
* Your Microsoft Windows isn't up to date (possibly illegal)

If you press yes your PC will stay unsecured and can be infected!

THE FIRST AUTORIZED LEGIT BOTNET!"

....lol. Apart from the crazy-paving spelling, they seem to have missed out "crappy deceptive message auto-spammed illegally via IRC" as one of their "infection reasons". I'm also not sure exactly who would see their strange "disclaimer", as you'd need to be running Ethereal (or a similar tool) to even know what was going on.

All in all, a big fat stinky crock. I'd love to know exactly why they think their crummy Botnet is somehow "authorised" and "legit", too. Oh well.
