Spybot Search and Destroy goes head to head with some dudes who sent them a Cease and Desist letter (sort of like Stand and Deliver minus the cool masks and guns) here. There's a Digg.com explosion here. What I find really interesting about this is the assumption the people whose program is bundled with a Trojan hijack are making on behalf of the end-users who want this crap removed.

From the Spybot response:

[They asked us to...] delete any correspondence from and to Spybot-S&D users who had been infected with this trojan, stop helping further Spybot-S&D users that get infected with this trojan...

Hm, I have a deep and meaningful opinion on this but more importantly,
