Zango funk it up on Myspace?
Labels: Zango
A while ago, I noticed a profile had been set up on Myspace called "Zangodotcom", with references to Bellevue and "You're good to go" (their tagline thing). Well, I happened to go back there and the page has had something of a revamp.
A WEIRD revamp.
For one thing, the page is now listed as a music band page ("Breakbeat" style, apparently). There's also a bunch of links to (awful) Myspace "content generator" sites, with all the free spangly banners and crappy animations you've come to expect from such resources. Indeed, one of them is stuffed with wall-to-wall Google ads and precious little else. No Zango content on any of them though, which is interesting.
Oh, the location of the "band" is listed as Washington DC - which is obviously a different Washington to Zango's homebase, but an odd coincidence nonetheless.
Is this Zango wading into the fray once more? Or someone having a laugh at their expense?
Either way, it's all a bit strange. Oh, and breakbeat sucks.
