DIY Phishing Fun


....pwnd. However, what's more interesting than seeing yet another loser website shut down is looking at what the guy was actually up to.

See, Muhammad here was running a website that allowed you to create custom built DIY phishing emails - depending on what service your target was using (Orkut, Myspace, Facebook etc), you could tailor your missive via a few drop down menu boxes. If the target took the bait, the stolen details would then be stored on his website for you to pick up - a pretty smooth operation.

Well, it was until I hurled an industrial sized monkey wrench at his head.

Read all about it here. His sites briefly returned to life earlier today (due to a "security breach", according to his hosts) - however, they have now supposedly killed off both sites. Oh, and this just in - Google have whacked his Adsense publishing account too, so thanks to them for their speedy action on this.
