Spywareguide Roundup
It's that time of the week again!
Here goes nothing. Or, to be more accurate, everything:
* Robodog: A digital dump on the couch. Long story short, one of my colleagues writes about some horrible thing from China that gets into your PC and proceeds to hump the vicars leg, wee on the geraniums and probably savage your neighbour in a delightful Kujo-style moment of madness.
Inspired by Alex Dragulescu and his digital renderings of infection files via algorithms and computational models, here is what I think Robodog looks like:
FEAR ROBODOG, FOR THIS IS THE END OF ALL THINGS.
Fine Art degree, kids. Don't mess with me.
* Facebook Chain Letters: What could be better than a teary eyed plea from the heart? A lot of things, as it turns out.
* Myspace Shutdown Prank: Oh ho ho. Jolly jokers jape script kiddies into running a file that shuts down their PC. Normally I don't approve of files "doing odd stuff" to computers, but as I figure the only idiots running this will be morons trying to hack things, lol and roffle at them.
* Yet Another "See who blocked you on MSN" website: This one comes with extra special fake MSN Chatbox popups too! Here's one of them, complete with some additional text I threw in at no extra cost to accurately reflect my first thoughts as it appeared onscreen:
.....she was, too.
* Easy Does It - Infection Files For All: Script kiddies have never had it so good, especially with applications like this around. If you ever happen to see the following fake error message appear on your PC:
...then the test infection file I created in my Batcave has killed the guards and escaped, 28 Days Later style, and will probably smash down your doors and vomit red gunge on your face very soon.
That concludes the Spywareguide Roundup for this week. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go draw some more pictures of Robodog.
