Update on the Facebook thing...

...and the "Facebook thing" would be this.

Just to be completely clear here, because I've had a number of people emailing me worried about a "wave" of attacks - there IS no "wave". As mentioned in the original blog post, a friend has passed on anecdotal evidence that TWO people on his profile list had their account messed with in some way, and only ONE of those freaked out because she said she had to delete pictures of what looked like children being tortured.

As I said earlier, "While I'm not about to suggest everyone jumps out of Facebook right this instant, I would advise extreme care with your login credentials while this lunatic is on the loose". There is NO need to start worrying about a "spread of hijacks" as the incident currently remains local to profiles on one guys friend list. As advised, simply remain cautious and vigilant about where you're entering your login details, and you should hopefully be fine.
